Congratulations are in order for Bradford Anderson (ex-Damian Spinelli, “General Hospital”) and wife, Kiera, as the couple welcomed their newest bundle of joy on Friday, May 2, just one day after learning Anderson had received his fifth Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
“A big week for sure. Today we welcomed our 2nd daughter, Finola Leo Anderson. Juna is thrilled. @vinoyogimama [Kiera Anderson’s Twitter handle] was the MVP. Obviously,” tweeted Anderson shortly after the birth of their daughter.
“[Bradford] was my champion today (and all through last night). Don’t know what I’d do without him,” noted his wife on the social website.

For those wondering how the couple came to choose the name Finola, and whether it is in any way related to Anderson’s former “GH” co-star Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), the Anderson’s reveal that the name is actually a family name, but at the same time a tribute to the actress as well. “It’s a family name, but we agreed that our daughter couldn’t have a more graceful woman to look up to than @finolahughes,” stated the proud momma. “Finola is a family name, not to mention the name of one of the coolest gals we know. So, perfect!” Anderson added.
The couples oldest daughter, Juna Meredith Anderson, was born July 18, 2011.
