(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Four of daytime’s leading actors from “All My Children” and “As the World Turns” are scheduled to attend a benefit to help the children of our service men and women.

The annual event will be on Saturday, November 7th in Key Largo, Florida from 1:30 until 5:00 pm ET, at the Ahepa Lodge Home at 1156 Jasper Street West.  Scheduled to attend from “All My Children” are  Bobbie Eakes (Crystal), Vincent Irizarry (David), and Walt Willey (Jackson).  Forbes March (Mason) will represent “As the World Turns.”

Each year the event raises money for a different charity, and is organized by sisters Barbie Tsagaris and Patti Werynski.  This year, all proceeds will go to benefit the nonprofit “Our Military Kids” organization.  Tsagaris tells Tampa Bay Online that  ”We think it will be a special event for ‘All My Children’ fans because the show is moving from New York to Los Angeles.  Also, the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando has discontinued its annual soap opera days so we don’t get to see our favorite stars there any more.”

The sisters’ inspiration for the event came from “AMC” star Walt Willey whom they met one year at ABC Daytime’s Super Soap Weekend.  The actor, who frequently preforms as a stand-up comic at the nearby Side Splitters Comedy Club has been instrumental in helping them persuade other soap stars to attend the event, which is now in its fifth year.

The deadline to sign-up to the attend this year’s festivities is Sunday, November 1st.  The cost is $75, which includes a light lunch and a meet and greet sessions with the daytime stars.

According to Tsagaris, “In the past people have really enjoyed this because it’s an intimate setting and you get to spend a lot of time with the stars.”
