Amanda Setton Leaves ‘One Life’

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — The “Gossip Girl” actress decides to leave the ABC soap after only six months with the cast. 

Daytime Confidential is reporting that they have learned from various sources that the 24-year-old Setton, who portrays Kimberly Andrews on “OLTL,” “was offered a contract [she had been on recurring status with the show] and a pay increase, however she opted to turn both down and is planning to move to California for pilot season. “

Setton, who joined “One Life to Live” on August 14th, 2009, taped her final episode last Friday (February 19th).  No final airdate has been announced, and a show spokesperson had no comment.  However, considering the sudser’s production schedule, she is expected to air until at least late March or early April.  It is unknown if “OLTL” plans to recast the role.
