Further confirming that "Guiding Light" will truly come to an end when it last airs on Friday, September 18 on CBS, TeleNext Media, producers of the soap, announced on Wednesday, July 8 that "Guiding Light" Head Writer David Kreizman will join the writing team of "As The World Turns" along-side Head Writer Jean Passanante, thereby forming a New Headwriting team for the soap. The announcement was made by "As The World Turns" Executive Producer, Christopher Goutman.
